As of 1 July 2013, European Construction Products Regulation 305/2011 replaces the old Directive 89/106. In the light of this new EU regulation, a so-called DoP (Declaration of Performance), which replaces the old Declaration of Conformity, becomes mandatory for every product. The safety data sheet (SDS) is the document which lists all hazards posed by a chemical product to human health and the environment. Specifically, they precisely list the components, manufacturer, transport, human and environmental hazards, disposal instructions, H-statements and P-statements, TLV/TWA exposure limits and the PPE items to be worn by the user who comes into contact with them.
